One of many random thoughts! :-)

Did you know that the only way the devil can come invade your life is through an open door? Did you know that the same rule applies to the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is a gentleman, so he's not going to force himself on you. The enemy, on the other hand, is always seeking for ways to come and wreak havoc, so if you got an open door it would be wise to close it.

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." --1 Peter 5:8

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come in and eat with him, and he with me" -- Revelation 3:20

Just a random thought I had today!

Still Painfully Beautiful

My life, *sigh* it's been a painfully beautiful process.

Painful because of all the stretching, purifying, and molding that God has taken me through.
Beautiful because I know that with each step I'm coming closer and closer to being the woman God has destined me to be. With each moment God is revealing a new piece of His plan for me. I sit back & smile as I think about all of the things I have gone through and with each thought the Holy Spirit breathes even more life into Romans 8:18, "for I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us". Now that's the truth!  When I think about everything that I've gone through so far I know that the word of God is the truth! I've been through some tough things these past few years [months, weeks, days, etc..] & I know that if it had not been for God I would not have made it through. Even when my problems seemed to be higher than mountains, it's nice to look back and see that my God was & is bigger. There is nothing impossible through Him, and it's very comforting to be able to see that for myself instead of just reading about it. God is awesome in His sanctuary. The God of Israel gives power & strength to His people. Praise be to God!

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.
